Dr. Prashant Kumar is an anaesthetist based in Glasgow, Scotland. He has a specialist interest in simulation-based education and research, specifically in different aspects of debriefing, psychological safety of teams, and how cognitive and behavioural skills affect human performance in dynamic and stressful situations. He is an associate scientific committee member for the European Society of Simulation (SESAM), and a co-chair of the Debriefing Special Interest Group at the Association of Simulated Practice in Healthcare (ASPiH). He holds a Masters in Medical Education & is currently working towards a PhD. Due to his children however, his real expertise lies with anything to do with Paw Patrol.
